This is because it takes heat to melt the wax.

The patterns are mastered by each individual, but they are beautiful, unique, and equally beautiful. But with the work done by hand, not even drawing the guidelines, the lines are of different thicknesses. But that's the charm of craftsmanship, unique. what we call Hmong batik.

Wax writing is done using a brass pen dipped in specially formulated wax, and write the pattern on the fabric, then bring the fabric is dyed with home colors with a cold dyeing process. Then take it out and hang it in the shade, do this 2-3 times a day for 10-15 days, to make the color adheres well. Then boil the cloth in very hot water. to melt the written wax. After that, you will see a beautiful pattern on that piece of cloth.
